THE “JITSU” FUNCTIONS

  • Intelligent Running
  • Microcomputer control, automatic selection of working mode, comfortable air temperature, automatic trouble shooting and timely display of operation status.

  • Sleep Mode
  • Takes care of your sleep, automatic rise or drop of the temperature set beforehand after one hour of sleep mode operation

  • Timer
  • Switch on or simply switch of and the unit will come on automatically as per your requirement, easy operation and very energy efficient.

  • High Efficiency and Energy Saving
  • High energy efficiency ratio and energy saving.

  • Constant temperature adjustment
  • Automatic adjustment to a certain constant temperature all the time by sensing the temperature change inside the room.

  • Automatic dehumidification
  • Automatic dehumidification as per the indoor environment, this function is very useful in rainy days or when the air is humid, the unit will evenly distribute the indoor airflow.

  • Triple squelching
  • Super cooling, super long distance air supply, and low noise

  • Self diagnostics and auto protection
  • With self-diagnostic function, errors will be detected by microcomputer chips and displayed by LED on the indoor unit.  Protection will then be automatically taken.

  • LED/LCD Display
  • This helps the user monitor and operate the unit clearly and easily

  • PCT auxillary electric heater
  • In very cold weather, ths function can enhance the heating and therefore achieve quicker warming

  • Hydrophilic Aluminium fin
  • The Hydrophilic Aluminium fin of the evaporator and condenser can make the condensated water flow freely between the fins and then help improve the cooling efficiency.  It can also improve the heating efficiency by accelerating the defrosting process.

2 or more units - single or multi split ?

SPLIT TYPE WALL MOUNTED UNITS –
For some time there has been various arguments for and against the single split and we shall deal with these accordingly:

SINGLE SPLIT TYPE WALL MOUNTED UNITS
With a single split system, you would have one indoor unit connected to one outdoor unit called the condensing unit.  Therefore if you were to have 2 indoor units, then these units would be connected to two outdoor condensing units.  One advantage to this system is that if we were to assume that one unit packs up, then the other unit will still function.  The other advantage to this system is that this system is relatively cheap to run and approximates to around 8 cents per hour running costs.  Because a smaller condensing unit is used on the single split unit as opposed to the multi split system, the electricity consumption would be lower than the multi split system.

MULTI SPLIT TYPE WALL MOUNTED UNITS
With a multi split system, you would have two or more indoor units connected to one outdoor unit called the condensing unit.  The advantage of this system is that only one outdoor unit needs to be installed on the outside wall of your property.  Whilst this may be a good solution the disadvantages are that a much larger outdoor unit has to be installed on the outside wall.  The other disadvantage is that the running costs would be relatively higher because even if only one of the indoor units were to be in use at any one time, then it would still consume the electricity consumption for the 2 units.  Similarly, if one of the units were to malfunction or if the outdoor unit (controlling both indoor units) was to fail, then this would render both units in operative.

It is our opinion that whilst there is no cost saving whatsoever in purchasing the multi split system, which sometimes can be a lot dearer than purchasing separate units, it is our honest advise that unless space saving plays an integral part of your decision, these multi split systems are un-necessary.
